Кусочек истории: Wi-Fi сети - это компьютерные сети, где связь между компьютерами осуществляется по радиоволне. Весьма распространены на Западе. В данный момент существует (или создается) подобная сеть в Москве и Санкт-Петербурге.

В регионах о таких сетях даже толком и не слышали. Розничная стоимость оборудования невысока - ~35 у.е за 1 точку подключения ~80 уёв за что-то вроде хаба. Радиус хаба в условиях офиса около 150 метров, возможно добавление дополнительных точек для большего охвата. В современные ноутбуки точка доступа встроенная.

Монтаж сети весьма и весьма прост и чаще всего представляет собой простое вставление устройства в USB порт.

Идея не для столиц, а для регионов. Закупить чуток оборудования для начала, дать рекламу (можно вначале поставить в офис знакомым, а потом зависть и слухи разлетятся по всем офисам).

На Западе на базе этой технологии некоторые провайдеры осуществляют доступ в Интернет.
